Allye MEV: a UK-built rapid charger with storage made from old EV batteries
British firm Allye Energy has launched the MEV, a fixed charger with 155kWh or 232kWh of storage built from whole second-life EV packs. It fills up slowly from an ordinary supply and releases the energy quickly to vans and cars. Deliveries are expected from spring 2027.
