Euro 7 confirmed for Great Britain: EV battery durability rules from 29 November 2027
The Department for Transport has confirmed Euro 7 for new cars and vans registered in Great Britain from November 2027. For electric cars, it brings minimum battery durability standards and battery health monitors, which should make used EVs easier to judge in the 2030s. It does not change anything for cars already on the road.
