Range, power and charging

The 118.5kWh battery and 800V electrics give up to 378 miles WLTP, and Range Rover estimates 333 miles in real-world use. Fleetpoint reports a 374-mile WLTP figure, so we use 378 as the manufacturer’s headline and 333 as the number to plan around.

Two motors produce 550PS and 850Nm, and 0 to 60mph takes 4.3 seconds with Dynamic Launch. On a fast enough rapid charger it adds 136 miles in 10 minutes, or charges from 10 to 80% in about 22 minutes. Many UK ultra-rapid chargers are rated below 350kW, so check your regular routes. Sources: Electrifying and The EV Report. The big car costs £44,260 more at entry level for a larger body and higher trims, not more range or speed. The trade-off is timing: the full-size car is expected to reach early customers before the end of 2026, the Sport in 2027.

Where does it sit in the market?

Evo describes it as a British rival to the Porsche Cayenne Electric. We have left rival prices out of this table because the figures we found for the Cayenne Electric were inconsistent. What this means for you

If you want a Range Rover but not a six-figure-plus price, the Sport Electric is the cheaper way in, and the Dynamic SE gives you the full powertrain. Be ready to wait until 2027. If you need a car this year, the full-size model is the one expected to arrive first. Plan on roughly 333 miles between charges rather than 378, and make sure you can charge at 350kW on your regular long journeys. Our JLR job cuts report covers the wider company picture.

How we test and where our numbers come from

Range figures are official WLTP combined values taken from manufacturer UK specification pages, with real-world estimates drawn from independent comparative testing. Prices are UK list prices at the time of the latest update. Tax, grant and charging-scheme figures come from GOV.UK and HMRC publications. We re-check every guide when pricing, specification or policy changes. Last checked 6 October 2026.
